Use Google FOR FREE On Your Phone

Tried of being charged for 'trivial' use of the web on your phone? Try this...

MAN,G seems phenomenal after you switch from GPRS,right? I mean, it's so quick and snappy and everythings feels so alive Internet. But it's also expensive. And you mostly  end up using it for trivial tasks such as searching, email checking and the like.

Now, wouldn' it be great if you could, say, use most of google's services (Like Gmail, Search, Google+, docs and news) on your phone, and not have that counted towers your data charges? So that, you know, you could use it for the important heavy tasks like videos and music and the occasional skype call? Well, it appears that's exactly what this nifty download called Free Zone lets you do.

As  long as your phone can access the internet(it doesn't necessarily require a data plan) you can go to g.co/Freezone and as long as the green bar saying 'Free page' appears on top while you're zipping through Googles laybyrinth of web tracking (it sure is big), you aren't being  charged.

You  can catch all your sports updates, check and respnd to mails, edit quick documents onthe-go and interact with your friends if you, ALL FOR FREE !

Almost sll mobile browsers support it. For the Moment however only Airtel in India backs this service.

how can I get started(India)?

  • Just visit airtel.in/freezone from your phone’s internet browser.
  • Then start searching or sign in with your Google account to access Gmail or Google+
  • If you don’t have a Google account, create one at no cost by clicking on sign up or click here.
Note: The free data usage on Free Zone is available up to a limit of 1GB per month.
